Torzon Onion is the independent mobile access reference in front of the Torzon onion service. It publishes the authenticated mirror addresses, distributes a signed obfs4 bridge bundle as a phone-scannable QR, and documents how Orbot and Onion Browser reach those mirrors. It does not operate the marketplace's escrow, vendor system, or any transaction-side feature. The full positioning is on the About page.

It has operated since 2022. The PGP fingerprint used to sign the mirror manifest has not rotated since launch - that key is the single chain of trust for every address we publish. Mobile milestones are documented on the About page.

No. Reading the page, copying a mirror address, scanning a bridge QR, or writing to mobile support is free. There are no accounts to register and nothing to subscribe to.

Install Orbot from F-Droid or Google Play. Open Settings then Bridges, paste an obfs4 line or scan our QR bundle, and pick snowflake if bridge IPs are blocked. Turn on VPN mode to route the whole phone, or per-app mode for Tor Browser for Android only, then open a mirror address. The full walkthrough is in the mobile setup guide.

Orbot offers both. VPN mode routes every app through Tor - simplest, but heaviest on battery and data. Per-app mode routes only the apps you pick, usually just Tor Browser for Android, which saves resources and avoids breaking apps that dislike Tor. On iOS, Onion Browser routes only its own tabs.

No. Install Orbot only from F-Droid or Google Play. Repackaged builds shared through file-sharing sites or chat groups have been observed shipping hostile bridge defaults that route through attacker-controlled relays. The official stores are the only trusted source.

Yes. Install Onion Browser from the App Store. It ships built-in obfs4 and snowflake bridges; meek-azure is limited on iOS by Apple's networking restrictions. Configure a bridge on first launch, tap Connect, then load a mirror. Onion Browser 3.x is verified against all three mirrors.

Apple restricts how third-party apps manage long-lived network connections and domain-fronted requests. meek-azure depends on both, so it is less reliable inside Onion Browser than on Android Orbot. Prefer obfs4 or snowflake on iPhone; reserve meek for the rare locked-down Wi-Fi where nothing else gets out.

The PGP-signed obfs4 bundle is published as a scannable QR. On an unfiltered device open the QR, then in Orbot choose scan a bridge and point the camera at it. The bridge line imports without typing, avoiding transcription errors on a touchscreen. Verify the bundle's signature against our fingerprint before scanning.

Match the transport to the block. obfs4 is the default for ordinary carrier DPI. snowflake is best when a carrier burns bridge IPs quickly. meek-azure is for locked-down Wi-Fi that only permits HTTPS to large CDNs, though it is the heaviest on battery and data.

snowflake holds a WebRTC connection open and draws more battery and cellular data than obfs4. On a prepaid or low-data plan, prefer obfs4 in per-app mode so only Tor Browser for Android is routed. The features page publishes the measured per-transport profile.

Three checks. (1) Source - only copy from this signed page; bookmark it. (2) Length - a v3 onion address is exactly 56 base32 characters before .onion; 16-character v2 addresses are deprecated and hostile. (3) Signature - use OpenKeychain on Android or the documented iOS workflow to verify the detached PGP signature on the mirror manifest.
