Network Infrastructure Fortification — All Nodes Hardened
In response to a coordinated DDoS campaign targeting multiple darknet platforms in early February, the Torzon infrastructure engineering team executed a comprehensive hardening cycle across the distributed network. All three official .onion mirror nodes have been redeployed on a fault-tolerant architecture with geographic distribution across independent relay clusters.
Key infrastructure upgrades deployed: proof-of-work challenge system v3 with adaptive difficulty scaling, per-circuit rate limiting at the Tor relay level, and automated traffic analysis that identifies and deflects volumetric attacks within 8 seconds. Under load testing, the upgraded stack sustained 4x the peak traffic observed during the February campaigns without performance degradation.
Clients running older Tor Browser versions (below 13.0) may encounter a one-time JavaScript challenge on initial connection. We recommend updating to the latest Tor client for optimal compatibility. If any mirror node is unreachable, rotate to the next endpoint from our node directory.
